Central member of UCPN-Maoist Krishna Dhoj Khadka was born on August 11, 1962 in Bijuwar-2 of Pyuthan to Top  Bahadur and Kalika Khadka.

He joined politics from the students’ wing of CPN’s 4th convention in 1979 and took membership of the party in 1985. After the split of the party in 1985, he took side of CPN- unity centre, followed by then CPN-Maoist.

During the armed conflict period, he played the important role in promoting the party’s activity openly and thus, became central member in 2000. 

Khadka, as the in-charge of Information Department led by chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal Prachand and the member of Political Deploying By-Centre, played the vital role for diplomatic dialogue between political party and the Government. Arrested and briefly detained during the period 1995 to 2000, khadka was released with the help of Court and political pressure.

April 31, 2001, he along with Rekha Sharma, central member of UCPN-Maoist, was arrested by the army from Chabahil, Kathmandu. Their whereabouts were kept unknown for one year.  After the torture by the army, he was released after one year.

After the split of the party, he took side of Mohan Baidya’s panel, but, later on, returned to UCPN-Maoist. In 2008 CA election, UCPN-Maoist stood the first position, followed by Rastriya Jana Morcha in Pyuthan-2, from where this time he is contesting.
